This is the face of Candi Murray, head of OBRA. She's awesome- except Saturday night, she turned into Yoko Ono and broke up the HUP PDX band.
Yep, that's right, our very own AO has been upgraded- he got the email Saturday night so he couldn't go for back-back B wins. That's right, AO now stands for "A's Only". And he did us proud-- low 30's in his first race against the big boys of cross. Rumor has it he tried to back in on Wicks and Treefarm wearing the black kit only saying "get used to the view freaks" while stepping to the line.
Slate did his best to hold AO's torch and rode into his best B finish ever-- 2nd place. Rode off the River City boys from his wheel but just couldn't bridge the :10 to the leader. Max was sporting white and looking so right for a 22nd spot. Brandon (CO HUP) and Vali both did us proud with strong goes in the B race- even as their second race of the day.
The Brothers Roth brought all the talent in support and photog this week. Dave got himself a new flash and will be totally pro for next week. One more Crusade left.
NE HUP- What are the plans for a HUP house for GPs? The Brothers Roth just got hit up by the GP to house the Clif kids, but we'd rather it be Belgium than Berkeley. Email them and let 'em know: danmroth@hotmail.com or davemroth@hotmail.com asap.

there will be at least three of us from the east coast HUP squad coming for the GP weekend. I'd love to stay at a HUP house if possible.
